Sophie-Louise Pywell (b. 2001) is an artist from Cheshire, now living and working in London.
​
With a Ba(Hons) in Painting from Edinburgh University and an Ma: Contemporary Art Practice from the Royal College of Art, Sophie-Louise's practice is textile based, mostly working with embroidery and quilting. Her 'craftivism' textile work goes against the traditional, and misogynistic, ideas surrounding craft as 'domestic' or 'women's work'.
